KR: Could you tell me a little about yourself please?

I’m a mother to four children. I live in New Zealand, I’m half Greek and half New Zealander. I love life and love being able to give a reader something they haven’t read before. I love to challenge myself and am always striving to be better. I’m a summer girl and a hater of winter. I love movies of all genre’s and of course I love to read. My family is everything to me.

KR: What do you like to do when not writing?

Catching up with T.V shows, going to the movies, spending time with my family.

KR: What is your favourite childhood book?

The Famous Five by Enid Blyton

KR: What is your favourite album, and does music play any role in your writing?

I don’t really have just the one favorite, when it comes to music I have an extensive list of favourites. Music doesn’t really play a role in my writing.

KR: Do you have a favourite horror movie/director?

Oh gosh, this is a tough one due to the amount of amazing horror movie directors. I have a few. John Carpenter, Wes Craven, George A Romero, Stephen King, Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Clive Barker, Michael G Keyhoe, Ridley Scott. Just to name a few 🙂

KR: What are you reading now?

I’m reading Gaelan’s War by Thaddeus McGrath and so far it is brilliantly good.

KR: Who were the authors that inspired you to write?

Stephen King, Kass Morgan, Enid Blyton, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker, James Herbert, H. G. Wells

KR: Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer to just see where an idea takes you?

I don’t work to an outline at all. I get an idea and run with it.

KR: What kind of research do you do, and how long do you spend researching before beginning a book?

Oh this is a great question, my research never stops. I will research before, and during my book writing. It can be from simply doing google searches to spending time in a particular location.

KR: Describe your usual writing day?

My usual writing day, would be to just sit at my desk, read what I had written prior to starting and then go for it. I can spend hours writing, a typical day of writing can be up to 12k – I’m a fast typist. However my brain is often faster than my typing lol

KR: Do you have a favourite story/short that you’ve written (published or not)?

Yes. It is called “Can you Imagine?” It will be added to my latest anthology that I’m currently working on.

KR: Do you read your book reviews?

Yes.

KR: Any advice for a fledgling author?

Do your research. Don’t give up. Be persistent. Ignore the inner critic. Read your work out loud. Get an excellent editor and proof readers, beta readers too if you can. Accept advice and criticism. Set yourself realistic goals. Know your audience. Feel the fear and do it anyways 🙂

KR: What scares you?

Losing my family

KR: E-Book, Paperback or Hardback?

All three.

KR: Can you tell me about your latest release please?

My latest was two books, ‘The Dead Undone and The Dead Wake Anthology’

A buried secret has woken and it is hungrier than ever…

Something whispers in the shadows…

Something screams in the dead of night…

Nurse Willa Galton doesn’t believe in ghosts or the paranormal. She never has. But when things start to happen to her, and the others within Tui Asylum, her disbelief in the supernatural is challenged in ways she’s never experienced before.

Willa watches as her world unceremoniously perishes before her very eyes. Determined that she will not let her world die, she leads a team into a dark and dangerous battle.

Faced with a nightmare so raw and so real, they wonder if they have what it will take to defeat the evil on their doorstep.

Willa and her team chop, smash, hammer, stab, shoot and even burned the monsters beyond recognition…but some just don’t stay dead. Why?!

Follow Willa and her team on a perilous journey that takes them on a path of righting a world turned inside out.

If you thought sleeping was safe…think again.

Ten utterly gruesome tales, that will disable you.
You won’t know what hit you.
You will from this day forward sleep with one eye open.
Insist that all the lights stay on…always.
You will begin a ritual; checking under your bed, inside the closet and double checking your windows.
Throw into this the sick and twisted and the utterly crazy humor and your stomach will explode.
With some erotica, you’ll be hot and sweaty and wont know which way to run…and you’ll be scared for life.
In the best possible way.

KR: What are you working on now?

I’m working on another anthology right now. Another scary compilation of short stories to really terrify you.

KR: You find yourself on a desert island, which three people would you wish to be deserted with you and why?

You can choose…

a) One fictional character from your writing.

One Fiction character from my writing, Bellamy, from my book Hounded. Why? Because he is a true survivor and I’d feel very safe having him with me, plus he is super gorgeous lol

b) One fictional character from any other book.

One fictional character from any other book, it would have to be Roan from the book The 100. The T.V series that character is played by the very talented Zach McCowan, so that is who I would take. Why, because he is funny, strong and a born leader.

c) One real life person that is not a family member or friend.

One real life person that is not a family member or friend. Oprah Winfrey because she’d be super funny to hang around with.
