Simon Paul Wilson’s Top Reads From 2021
Although 2021 was pretty awful, it was a good one for horror fiction. I read close to 70 books, and the vast majority of them were fantastic.
I’ve compiled two ‘Best Of’ lists, one for collections and one for novels/novellas.
All of the ten books I’m about to mention are fantastic reads and truly worthy of your time.
Here we go…
Favourite 5 Collections of 2021:
Dark Missives by Dan Howarth
Paths Best Left Untrodden by Kev Harrison
Between Light And Shadow by Sarah Jane Huntington
The Collapse Of Ordinary by Steve L. Clark
Hunger For Death by Joshua Marsella
Favourite 5 Novels/Novellas of 2021:
Cunning Folk by Adam Nevill
The Watchers by A. M. Shine
Melancholia by Matt Wildasin
