{Gory Corey Book Review} Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark: Alvin Schwartz

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark: Alvin Schwartz

Reviewed By Gory Corey

My parents bought me this book for Christmas. Me and my daddy had been looking at books online and found this one. My daddy read me the first story, The Big Toe, and I thought it was good. I really liked the jump scare at the end! So, this book went straight onto my Christmas list.

Scary Stories is a lot of fun. I really enjoyed reading it. Some of the stories are funny, some are very creepy!

The illustrations were very detailed and scary.

This one was very frightening!

This one was one of the best pictures.

My favourite stories in this book were The Attic, Oh, Susannah, and The Bad News.

The Attic had a really funny ending. It made me laugh a lot!

Oh, Susanah was a horror story and very good.

The Bad News was about two people who wanted to know if they would play baseball in heaven, but the news wasn’t good.

I think this is a fantastic book, suitable for children and adults. If you like to have fun and be terrified, then this is the book to read!
